This audio meditation is an invitation for you to practice embodiment while Somatically understanding what a mindful eating practice is. It is a 22 minute meditation to be done while sitting or laying. Mindfulness is a practice that can be applied to many areas of life, arguably all, from sex to driving, to washing the dishes to walking, and yes, even and especially, to eating. Mindfulness is the awareness that arises from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally, according to Dr. Jon Kabat-Zin. Mindful eating is a practice I highly recommend to people with whom I work so they can create a better relationship with their bodies, and thus potentially enjoy eating in a more embodied way.
